So I’ve noticed that some of the blogs I read haven’t really been active since summer vacation came into play. And I totally get it. Everyone is out doing their summer thing, going on much needed holidays, going to the pools, the beaches, and all that.
I myself have been taking time away from my blog and doing some other projects I’ve been meaning to finish and getting out of the house every now and then. Lately though, with this summer head cold of mine, I haven’t been doing much and I’m bloody bored. Hence this topic. There are no blogs to read. Well… other then those review and giveaway blogs, but you can’t really “read” those.
So are you doing the summer anti-blog thing? If so, how are you dealing with the withdrawl (if any)? 
And if not, well, how are you anyway?

I’ve not really done much blogging this year, but I’m trying my hardest to get back into it, but with work being crazy in the summer it’s more difficult
Not really doing the anti-blogging thing. Since I’m not in school… and don’t have kids, summer is just another day I have to go into work. I’ll be here all summer, all winter… all year if I can. I’m doing peachy… how are you?
I am not blogging every single day but I blog regularly still. I still find that a lot of blogs on my RSS reader still update pretty regularly. :)
Usually I find that people blog more/comment more often in the summer. I haven’t seen any change in rate recently.

I have noticed that too! i have a few blogs that i read on regular basis, but lately they haven’t post anything ….
I’m actually doing the opposite! I seem to be blogging MORE since summer vacation, and I even found the time/energy to revamp my website as well. Funny how that works…I guess that means I don’t have a life.

I’m not really taking a break, but I have been really busy so that has kept me from posting as much.
I haven’t taken a break but I’ve noticed that my own blog stats are way down so I think all my readers are taking a break instead!
I’m around and I’ve taken off a day here and there. I too am tackling things I let go over over the winter and now I need to take care of them. I’ve been posting not as much and I try to take atleast one day a week to comment on other blogs

I took a mini break of sorts last month when we were busy finishing up our garden and while it is tempting to take a real break, I don’t want to start from scratch again with blog stats. As it is, I am trying to improve mine with the limited time I have to spend on it.
I rarely get to my favorite blogs now, once every 2-4 weeks or sometimes longer! I have way too many hats to wear these days!
Sympathy waves your way with your head cold. I have had a cold too. I have had it for nearly three weeks now. The cough is hanging on.
I’m actually trying not to blog or be online so much during the summer. I need to get out there and do other things!
Especially when it’s nice weather. But I always end up with reading a book on my balcony instead.
But I agree with you, when I’m bored and want to go online, no one is blogging!
I’m the opposite. I just started so I feel it’s vital to post everyday – summer or no summer. Actually this is the ideal time for me because since I homeschool my daughter, her being on vacation means I’m on vacation. Unfortunately my creative juices aren’t working with me.

My blogging is definitely very minimal word wise. I’ve been posting lots of photographs and blurbs.
I’ve been moving house which has kept me very busy
I just got my internet connection back today so I’m catching up with everyone. I didn’t realise people hadn’t been blogging in my absence. It means catching up will be quicker I suppose 
I’m actually trying to get better about blogging. I may be a little inconsistent, but I won’t let you down even if we go on a vacay or somethin’ :).

Hm, I’m kind of on and off.
I write when I want to write or when I have something to talk about. Blogging isn’t that important for me – it’s just a hobby kind of thing for me to vent out.
Some people whose blogs I read have gone M.I.A., but I don’t really mind. :/ Especially since I do the same thing, haha.

I’m actually blogging more this summer than I did earlier in the year. I hadn’t even thought about it til you just said something.
I took a break because of life. My maternity leave is over and I’m back at work pulling way more hours than expected. I’m trying to get back into it though.
