I’m an artist again!

I have finally gotten around to replacing the tablet my husband broke oh so many years ago. And this time I’ve gotten myself a nice little Bamboo Fun. :D The stupid thing cost me $130.00 but I’m happy with it. I’ve already started using it!

test art

I’m kinda getting used to the Corel program, but it’s really nice. But twisting my wrist around isn’t so I’m gonna have to find a place to put it on my desk where I won’t break myself trying to use it. @@ But yea… I can draw again! I think I’ma start putting more art on my blog. Maybe it’ll make things more… interesting around here. ;)

Congrats on getting a tablet! I love Wacom, I have one of the Bamboo series tablets myself – it was a fairly inexpensive one, but does the job well! And that little sketch is pretty cute, I love the pink blush!

Fun! I’m completely un-artistic, but I bet that that you’ll have a great time drawing with it!

  3. Holly says:

That is so awesome, you should make a new layout out of your art now that you can! I lack all artistic ability, which is probably why I write… with the exception of drawing a circle with some lines coming out of it and being proud that I created “art.”

  4. Annah says:

Oh my God… you draw wonderfully. I wish I sketched this well. My sketches are laughable. lol. This is awesome.

My tablet was pretty spendy too in my opinion but they are worth every penny for those who do art on a computer.

  36. Trisha says:

I got a Bamboo tablet two years ago from my parents on Christmas. I don’t use it as much as I’d like to, though. :( It’s really nice, too. What a shame, haha. There’s this cool site from Bamboo you’d probably like: http://tablet.wacom.co.jp/bambooplayroom/ . I play that all the time. XD

Now you’ve given me a new goal: use my tablet!!!

  37. Lori says:

Congrats on the new tablet. I used to have one and loved it!

  38. Catie says:

I used to have a Bamboo! And then I was like “Why did I buy this?” and sold it on Ebay. Now I want one again. :D

Can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with it!

  39. Jenny says:

After reading your post and the comments on it, i think i am going todo some research about this Bamboo tablet and 95% i am going to buy it. I mean 95 before doing any research :)) Now i am using Adobe Creative Suite 4 to do some graphic designs.
