I’m officially a redneck. Well, those of you who think you’re better then anyone else probably already think that, but your opinions don’t matter. 
Anywho… I’ve broken another tooth. And not where no one can see. It’s in the front for the entire fucking world to see (and no I will not post pictures)!!
This is how it happened…
We were taking a trip to the pine barrens and we stopped at the local Wawa for some snacks and lunch. We paid for the items we bought and the boy wanted his juice bottle open so I used my teeth to do so. You know those ones with the spout and shit… anyone would use their teeth to open it. Maybe. Maybe not. Anyway!! It was one of my problem teeth that got included in the pull that the boy performed after I told him to just HOLD it 
and when he did so, the tooth cracked and broke off on the side and now… I look like a nerd/freak/redneck.
And the worst part of it is, we have no money to get it fixed. 
The dentist uses half our insurance to take fucking xrays of my mouth. The rest BARELY covers the fix then the rest has to come out of our pockets. We don’t have it. So now I get to listen to my mother say “Told you so!” and then other people just looking at me weird.
Could my luck get any better?! I’m never leaving the house again…
I am so sorry!!! I know how much tooth problems suck and how they can literally bring your life to a standstill and mess everything up. Mine have been doing that for the entire week that just passed! I’ve been in such horrendous pain and had so much pressure going on that I went into hysterics and punched myself in the side of the face where the tooth was. Went to the doctor that same day thanks to my grandmother paying for it, got painkillers and antibiotics, since I have a nasty infection, hence the pain, and for days, I’ve had a black eye and a swollen mouth. I look like a battered wife now.

I can’t say I’ve had any strange teeth stories myself, although I have had a total of 12 teeth removed from my mouth (granted, four of them were baby teeth). Four of them came from the front too, so for the longest time I had these gaping holes in my mouth. They had to remove them because my jaw was too small; thankfully, braces fixed that after a grueling two months…

Aww I hate that for you! I recently had some teeth issues, and it’s embarrassing at times, painful…. and just a crap thing to deal with. Why is it medical insurance covers so much more than dental.
No fun! I say play it up the part as long as you have a broken tooth.
Awww, I feel sorry for you. I really do! Loosing/breaking teeth isn’t funny at all. I hope you get some money to cover the dental bill.
You should try to fix it now, because in time the problem might get worse
and you’ll have to pay a lot more money. To me it happened: i had a cracked tooth and i didn’t go to the dentist (because of the money)and after a few month the nightmare begun: pain, infection and a lot more money to the dentist.

Dental work is crazy expensive. My implant was $8000 I think, with insurance. I dread the day when I’ll have to get it tightened or whatever. I can only imagine the cost.

And OMG, I just read paula’s comment above and I dream the same exact thing! WEIRD.
It is very common to have nightmares regarding our teeth. An explanation from a dream interpretation is that when one dreams that his teeth fall, he is afraid of somethingh, has a lot on his mind and when you dream that your teeth hurt it means that something bad is going to happens.
I have nightmares too! I am spitting out all of my teeth and I am horrified. Teeth suck, but are a necessary evil.

That’s awful, I’m sorry. I don’t know if they have this in your area, but sometimes dental schools offer free or almost free services for stuff like that. Kind of like a cosmetology school.
Our community college has that I think but honestly they’d have a field day on me

We can’t afford to go to the dentist either. Thankfully neither of us have any trouble with our teeth. We’re just due a check-up and really have to put it off ’til we have some money spare.
BTW, my husband chipped his front tooth on a chip (which my mother made hehe). It was only a small chip but he never got round to having it looked at. It’s all healed over now and I can’t remember what he looked like before he did it :)
Geez, whatever can go wrong def will go wrong!!! That happened to my mom once when I asked her to open a bottle of my nail polish b/c it was stuck. Ha! That shit was funny! Anyhoo, srry that it happened to you, I bet it hurts…but cheer up :) When people ask just make up a cool story about how you were in a bar fight…it sound better than a bottle j/k….really.
