So I found out about Monday Mingle through Holly over at Woman Tribune. I thought it was a nifty idea and I totally wanted to participate, so I hopped over to Eighty MPH Mom and checked it out. It’s a vlog meme where you make a video answering the questions given. I could totally get behind that, even though I’m uber shy. But when I went to make my vlog, it came out screwy and was to large to upload anywhere. And you couldn’t really hear me at all. 
So, until I get a better camera or whatever, I’m just gonna go text log for now. So, here are the questions for this weeks mingle…
- What would you think about having our spouses vlog with us one week? Would yours make a cameo appearance?
I don’t think my husband would do any kind of normal or vlog. I have a hard enough time getting him to let me take a picture of him with my digital. I’d love to get him on here with a vlog and let him share his thoughts alongside me. But I don’t see that happening in the near or far future. - Do you have pets? Tell us about them!
I don’t have pets. I used to though. We had a dog when I was living at home, and my sister got a cat a few years later. That cat was evil!! And our dog, as lazy and smelly and as much as she left her fur everywhere, she was awesome.
I kinda miss her. I hope to someday have another dog. A pug to be exact. But we’re gonna have to find a complex that allows them. - What are your favorite sayings or movie quotes?
I have none. Sorry. I used to though. When I was in eighth grade, my friend Sarah and I had some things we used to say once in a while from the movie MI 1 and Interview with the Vampire. Guess it was fun at the time. - What is your favorite kind of music? Favorites bands/artists and songs? Best concert you ever attended?
My favorite kind of music is rock. I don’t really listen to american music though. If you put everything I have together (music-wise), about 90% of it is J-Pop/J-Rock. It’s just so much better in my opinion.
As far as concerts go, I go to the Tran-Siberian Orchestra concert almost every year with my mom. It’s so amazing and the music is awesome. You’d have to see it to know the feeling of how this concert is. I love going. - What are your favorite drinks (alcohol or non)?
Coffee and Pepsi.
I’m not really into drinking.

I use a JVC Everio … but I know most just use their Flip of Vado cameras.

I’ve seen that vlogging business around a few times, but I’m just not up to all the technical details, and my “menu” is pretty solid these days.
So many are saying their hubbys wouldn’t be down for the vlog. I’m really surprised by it, thanks for joining in!
Hey thanks for stopping by my blog! It was great to “meet” you. I just read your post here and have to say that my husband would never do a blog or vlog or any other kind of extroversional activity either! He made a facebook account after more than half a dozen friends invited him, but then he hardly ever checks it. LOL I think he just made the account so he would stop getting notifications to join. hehe I love him, he is a great husband and father, but he just does not like a lot of attention drawn to himself. And he certainly doesn’t want it publicized on the internet for all to see! I may have been like that long ago, but I had to get over it when I started recruiting for volunteers for my game development team. If I want people to know about me and my project, I have to get my name out there. So, I’m ok with it now. Anyway thanks for posting a message to let me know you stopped by. I like dogs, they are so happy and loyal you know. Not sure if we’ll get pets though. Hopefully the kids decide well on the matter.

Oh you asked about cameras… I loved my Cannon powershot. It really stood up to a lot of abuse! Alas however it has died and I too am needing a new camera. But I would get a Cannon again. They take great pictures, they use regular AA batteries so if I’m in middle-of-nowhere Idaho I can still get batteries for my camera! And truly, I dropped my poor camera more times than I can count, and it survived a very long time! I loved my camera. Definitely recommend Cannon!
I like other people’s dogs. LOL They are cute and fuzzy, and I understand why people like them. But they are too needy. They are worse than a 2 year old for needing CONSTANT attention and CONSTANT approval. “Look at me! Look at me! Look at me! Do you like me? Do you like me? Do you like me?” After the first week I just want to be left alone for a while. LOL
I like cats. We understand each other. I like them. They like me. We each have our own space, and they know it’s ok to cuddle when relaxing, but during work time I need to concentrate. We had 5 kitties, but one of them adopted the neighbor’s house, and 2 of them disappeared (don’t like to think what might have happened to them). So we are down to just 2 cats now, and we make them stay in the house all the time. Don’t want to lose them too. I love my kitties. i used to keep a wide variety of pets, but since having children, and especially since starting my own business, have found I just don’t have time to clean cages. I do love animals though, and know a lot about them. Have always loved animals.

The more we discuss about the pets, the more I seem to want a cat instead of a dog or fish. It is true. dogs seem very needy! And they poop in the grass. Cats dig holes to cover that stuff and yes they give you yourr space.

I know someone who has 2 kittens in Jefferson County, Wisconsin that were dumped off in a barn. They are going to the humane society if they don’t find a home soon. You happen to be near there?
