Picture my mother and I stuck at the movies in the dark, waiting for the tow truck to arrive to take us away and home.
Now picture my husband coming to rescue us and bringing my son. You got it?
K, now picture me and my mother talking to my son (he’s five btw) on the trunk of the car, in the dark, waiting for the tow truck.
We were talking about all kinds of random things and then my son pointed out an airplane in the dark distance, calling it a star (or was it a planet?). So we started talking about planets…
Boy: Mars is red and stuff lives there.
Me: No stuff doesn’t live there it’s a dead rock.
Boy: blah blah blah stuff blah blah more stuff.
Me: OH! And Uranus…
Boy: *taking off his jacket with a shocked look on his face* NO I’M NOT!!
Me, Mom, Husband: *dies laughing*

I swear the only reason why I had a child was to hear the funny things that come out of her mouth. That and to have her get me stuff when I don’t feel like getting up.

LOL too cute! I really find it funny when they get flustered for the silliest things like misunderstanding something. I kind of miss the time when my little brother was younger and would believe anything you tell him and don’t get a lot of stuff.
