Blood & Guts & Zombie’s Oh My!!

So the other day, I was returning comments to the people who have been so kind as to leave comments on this blog and I visited Nikki’s blog in the process. I haven’t been there in a while. I’m so sorry *oops* But in doing so I saw one of her posts where she listed some web comics she thought were worth a visit. I have to admit I officially love you now, Nikki!

Zombie Hunters

zombie hunters web comic

I found, through her post, a web comic called Zombie Hunters. As you probably already know, I am a big zombie fan. I’m scared shitless and completely paranoid of them, but I just can’t help but love them. I consider it more of a possible reality then say… vampires or some other stupid monster type.

*stabs glittery blood sucker and all twihards*

But anyway, this comic took me all but, I’d say, an hour to read. The story was just that good. I couldn’t help it. But I kept going back to past pages just to look at some of the artwork. It will really freak you out, but it’s so good. :) The artist’s name is Jenny Romanchuk (yay for more Jenny’s!) and her work is so cool. I’ve seen web comic artists do similar stuff but they just can’t seem to pull it off. Jenny really details her entrails and guts and all that glory! I’m hooked for life. <3 If I could afford to buy her book, I'd totally do it. Especially since she, and I quote, "Will break my wrists sketching and signing copies for all the people who pre-ordered my book“. Ok so it’s not exact but it’s along those lines.

Someday Jenny. Someday!! That book will be mine! *drool*

But yea, if you’re into that kinda stuff or just wanna check it out, just visit thezombiehunters.com. And if you don’t at least find it somewhat interesting then… there is something wrong with you. xD

I’m so glad you found something so wonderful! I haven’t finished Zombie Hunters yet, but I’m trying to catch up on a ton of comics. When I started this Webcomic Wednesday project, I didn’t realize how incredibly unproductive I would become – all I do is read comics now! :D I love it.

I’ve got to do one today. Last week was the first Wednesday since I started that I didn’t get one up. I’ll make up for it today. :)

HA! I’m so glad I’m not the only one who’s actually afraid of real zombies. Yes yes, I know they’re not real…YET. But they could be, maybe. One day.

I’m going to have to check that comic out I think. =)

I’m not really into zombies either, but I’m more into comics. I used to read online comics back in the day when I had more time…

I love super natural creatures too, but as you say zoombies freaks me out!
I think I might have a “fetish” on vampires, I dream about them 3-4times a week. LOL

    Hey there ;D

I’m a huge fan of TZH too xD I’ve been following them for a while and I agree with you – the story really amazing. I really admired TZH-Jenny for the way she managed to make the entire world of TZH so complex and detailed.

I think one sign that shows how much of a fan I am of her webcomic is that when Left 4 Dead 2 came out with the zombie classes (Spitter in particular), I instantly yelled out COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT! Ahahaha.

So you’re a huge fan of zombies too? I am, truly :D I have a couple of zombie books on my shelf – “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” (It’s really good! If you lived near me, I’d definitely buy you a copy!) included.

I also want to recommend you Max Brook’s series of zombie books: “The Zombie Survival Guide” and “World War Z”.

The first is a totally srs book on how to survive if the world suddenly has a zombie epidemic – complete with analysis on different places to go to, stuff to bring, how to move around and lots of other information on how to survive.

The second is sort of a future-type book. It’s written several decades from now and is a report on how the zombie apocalypse spread with “first hand accounts” and stuff. They’re also making it into a movie xD

OMG you too!? I have P&P&Z as well as the prequel to it :D Hehe.

I wanna get those other ones but my husband thinks I’m paranoid enough as it is xD

Zombies are more like of an imagination or could it exist in the future like frankenstein did? I am thinkin, maybe oneday great scientists would come to invent life prolonging medicines that would complicate the human anatomy and cause infections. Well, thats just an imaginaton.

  16. I can’t say that zombies are a favorite of mine, even though I tend to resemble one most of the time.

I don’t know zombies are my cup of tea but I’m sure my kids would love them. The graphics are quite amazing!
