They didn’t allow me to join them though. I have no idea why…
Is it finally over?
March 9th, 2010The weather has been unusually nice lately. It scares me. It’s been about 60+ degrees for a few days and it’s still (?) the middle of winter. I think it’s the middle of winter. Then again, they do say April showers bring May flowers
. And next month is April. 
But we have been taking this opportunity to enjoy it while it’s here and have a walk every day. The hubby wants to lose his gut (which I insist is left over from my pregnancy). You know, sympathy weight and all. 
And I have been wanting to lose the weight I’ve gained over the past five years because, honestly, I hate my body. It’s disproportionate. Fat in some places, normal in others. I just wish it would fill out and be one or the other. And I wanna lose my ass and hips and get back into my size 9 jeans and a few shirts I have that I don’t fit in anymore. I miss them. And I can’t seem to find anything nice that fits me without making me look like a complete freak.
I just hope the weather stays this way. But according to my father in law (or husband), we’re going to be getting a weeks worth of rain this week (thursday to sunday I believe) and if we do, the hubby isn’t taking me to a doll show I found out about. That’s going to make me a very unhappy panda! But we’ll see how everything goes. Hopefully after this supposed rain, it’ll go back to being nice the rest of the winter. I really hate the cold.

On the go!
March 5th, 2010Last time I posted about my recent antics, I stated that I haven’t been up to much. Which is true and I’m still up to absolutely nothing because I have been sick. And yesterday I went to the doctor and found out I may have and am being treated for bronchitis. I blame my husband because I just got over pneumonia and have been dragged around town for two weeks spending his tax return. Well, not all of it, but still. And it’s cold!! And now I’m sick again. And it sucks!
After the doctor though, he took me out to coffee and lunch 
We went to the nearest B&N and enjoyed coffee (which Charlie tried to walk off with) and pizza & spinach pretzels. Grilled of course. And man were they good. If you’ve ever had them, you know what I mean. After foodies, we walked around the store and I found a rack in the video section that had all of Miyazaki’s movies. I think it was all of them. I squee’d. The hubby bought me Castle in the Sky while I watched Ponyo on the television. I can’t wait to get that movie. It was so cute!!
And of course, I couldn’t pass up a perfect photo opp while waiting for the boy to get out of class.
It came out awesomely. I didn’t even try to get that shot. Just pointed and POOF! Best photo ever! *drools* Just call me The Professional

I have a doll show next weekend and a dinner date this weekend. I just hope I’m free of my debilitating diseases by then. Not that it’ll stop me from going but it’ll certainly make it more enjoyable not having to cough and hack and die all over the place.
